About Me:
I am a 2nd year graduate student in the Department of Geological and Planetary Sciences at the California Institute of Technology. I'm interested in topics in paleoceanography and paleoclimatology. I'm currently working with John Eiler and Aradhna Tripati to use 'clumped isotope' paleothermometry to constrain sea surface temperatures in the equatorial Pacific ocean during the Pliocene. At the same time, I'm working with Jess Adkins to develop a chronology and climate record using fossils from the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles.
