I am currently a fifth year graduate student of Geobiology in the Division of Geological and Planetary Science, California Institute of Technology working the Alex Sessions and John Grotzinger.  I am broadly interested in the interactions between microbes and the environment and how these interactions are preserved in the rock record.  I work in both the modern and the ancient and have strong field and laboratory components to my research.
