About me

Welcome to my website! I am a 51 Pegasi b Postdoctoral Fellow in the Astronomy Department of Yale University. My research interests have focused primarily upon deciphering the origin and evolution of planetary systems around other stars ("exoplanets"). However, my interests vary widely, having included investigations into the various mechanisms by which planetary systems differ from ours, the factors governing mass extinctions in Earth's history, and the potential consequences of ocean acidification for marine organisms. I enjoy utilizing simplified mathematical methods to extract important lessons from complicated phenomena. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any comments about my published work, or if you have any projects on which you are interested in collaborating.
