NASA Interior Interiors & Dynamics

Dave Stevenson’s research  includes work on interior structure, formation and evolution of planets (both solid and fluid) and satellites.  Konstantin Batygin joined the faculty in 2014 and is involved in a wide range of theoretical dynamics research, including interpretation of exoplanets.

Elsewhere in the Division, Jennifer Jackson’s work on materials at high pressure has application to many planetary bodies and Mark Simon’s studies dynamical processes, including volcanism and tectonics, that have application to solid planets.
