The Seeley G. Mudd Building of Geophysics and Planetary Science, known locally as "South Mudd," houses the geophysics and planetary science academic options of the Division of Geological and Planetary Sciences (GPS) at Caltech. The building also houses the Seismological Laboratory, the Helen and Roland W. Lindshurst Laboratory of Experimental Geophysics, and the Ross McCollum Space Photography Library.
