Students on a planetary science field trip took a detour
into the Petrified Forest National Park to get an upclose
view of petrified logs that were formed close to 200 million
years ago. Led by Professor Mark Richardson, this Ge11c
and Ge103 field trip to northern Arizona allowed observation
of several Earth analogues of important solar system processes.
